Join the Leven Farmer Network for a hands-on day to exploring everything soil health related and how working with your soils can boost farm resilience and profitability hosted by Channel Farm. Soil health advisor Niels Corfield will guide us through understanding, assessing, and managing soils to get the best from the field.

The morning session will give an overview of soil health fundamentals and how they can inform management decisions: soil organisms, how to understand health, nutrient cycling, weeds as indicators, compaction, and more. In the afternoon, we’ll put this into practice on the fields of Channel Farm, showing tools and techniques to observe soil health and apply it to management decisions.
